The kids of Uruti

One of the best friends I made at University grew up at Uruti, a small town in north Taranaki.  At one point her keyring was a big yellow tag - it was one of those tags they stick in the ears of cows.  Anyway, she is choice and spent many years entertaining us with stories of Uruti. Like, did you know that one of their roads had the longest corner in the Southern Hemisphere (or something like that).  I think anyone that has came across Bridget probably developed a fondness for Uruti, whether they'd been there or not.    So, I was stoked to see this article on the stuff website about how the 8 kids of Uruti Primary School are having a stab at fundraising for their school by trying to win this competition.  They've made an awesome clip on Youtube, and the clip that gets the most views over the month of April wins $10k.  Click through and help them out.
